This weekend will see the usual training sessions: On Saturday, meet at 10.00am at the Meadows Pavilion for a speed session. Sunday morning at 9.00am will be the long run from Craiglockhart Tennis Centre, meet in the top car park before heading out on paths and trails to Balerno and beyond with run distances from 12-16 miles.

JSB Plumbing Forth Valley League
The first meeting of the JSB Plumbing Forth Valley League takes place this Saturday 30th April, at Grangemouth Stadium, with Division I starting at 10:00 am and Division II in the afternoon with a 1:00pm start.

Edinburgh Airport Youth Games
Volunteers are required for the Edinburgh Airport Youth Games on 12th May 2011 at Meadowbank 9.30-1.00pm.
This is an event that brings together primary school and secondary school pupils for a day of sporting activities at Meadowbank Stadium. There will be 2 Giant Heptathlon Competitions: a primary competition and a secondary competition. The events are 60m, 600m, 60mH, Long Jump, Standing Triple Jump, Shot Putt, Turbo Javelin. Weekend Results
Good results in from the Balmoral Races where in the 5k Emma Dunnett was 2nd in 18.23, with Oonagh Dunnett 3rd in 18.42. Alex completed his challenge off all three races by also adding the 10k and the 1/2M!
In the Tyneside 10k Vik Lomax edged her PB down with 40.06 and at the Park run we had Sharyn Ramage 20.28, Brian Howie 21.17, Jane Wright 21.28 and Alastair Jack 33.45. If you were racing but I’ve not spotted your result, please let me know.
