Good luck to everyone heading to Glasgow on Sunday for the 1/2 Marathon or 10k, I think we have about a dozen runners taking part.
For everyone else, on Sunday there will be the usual long training run at 9am from Craiglockhart Sports Centre. Meet in the top car park and we will head out on the Canal and Water of Leith paths to Balerno and beyond, with run distances of 12-16 miles, mainly on paths and trails. A range of distances and a range of speeds, all welcome, just turn up and join in.
Edinburgh AC will be representing Scotland at the final of the UK Young Athletes League at SportCity in Manchester on Sunday 2nd September. The team of 80 athletes travel down tomorrow hoping to do even better than last year’s 5th place.
