Smile if you got a PB
The main event of the weekend was the Scottish 10 mile Championship at Strathclyde Park and the EAC race squad had some fantastic results. The woman’s team are now Scottish Champions so well done to Jenny, Vik and Kim on their gold medals and indeed Jenny also picked up silver in the individual senior event and another gold as Scottish Masters Champion. As Richard pointed out, she had more medals than trainers! Although unfortunately she had to refuse the trip to Denmark that she won as she is not free that weekend! Also some great running from the men’s team led home by Richard and the majority of the EAC runners posted PB’s. Some huge PB’s particularly from Vik and Dan.

Well done everyone, great results all round. I’m glad I ran, and was really happy with the PB. Unfortunately it seems like I was running for the mens team this time tho – even less chance of ‘counting’ than with the women!
