There was disappointment for Lynsey Sharp in her 800m semi-final in the London Olympics.
Lynsey had been hoping run the race in a new PB, but finding herself at the back of the field was unable to break through and finished 7th in a time of 2:01.78.
Despite her disappointment it was a great achivement for Lynsey to reach the semi-finals of an Olympic games and an insperation to all our young athletes. The experience gained at these games will surely help her in future championships.
