Scottish East District Championships, Meadowbank 24th & 25th May

All track athletes should be looking to enter the East District Championships – the competition is at Meadowbank so for most of you there is not much travel involved. This is your chance to pick your event(s), get good competition and go for a new personal best.
Age Groups – U14, U16, U18 U20 and Senio

Closing Dates: Postal and Telephone Closing date: Friday 10 May 2013, Online Closing date: Sunday 12 May 2013, Online and postal is the preferred method of entry. No late entries will be accepted.

Important Information
NO LATE ENTRY RULE: scottishathletics will no longer be accepting late entries following the closing date for each Championship event.
Online entries will close at midnight on the Sunday following each Friday. Postal entries should be submitted recorded delivery before the Friday of each championship closing date..

Provisional Programme

Friday 24th – events start at 6pm and go on until 9.30pm.
Track – 200m and 1500m (Under 14,16,18 and Senior)
Field – Hammer (Under 14, 16, 18, 20 and Senior), High Jump (U16G), Triple Jump (U16, 18, 20, Senior – Men)

Saturday 25th – events start at 10.00am and go on until 5.50pm
Track – 100m, 400m, 800m, Steeplechase, Hurdles (sprint & 300/400)
Field – all events, all age groups not covered on Friday.

Age Groups
Please note that age groups are not the same as for the leagues.
They are as follows:
Under 14 – born in 2000 or 2001
Under 16 – born in 1998 or 1999
Under 18 – born in 1996 or 1997
Under 20 – born in 1994 or 1995
Senior – born in 1993 or earlier

What are the timings for the races each day please?
My son is running in the under 16 1500m race tonight and the 800 m race tomorrow.
How long before each race should he allow for registration.
