Well done to all our athletes who competed in the Scottish Championships, as a result of your combined efforts  Edinburgh AC won the overall team title at the Scottish Senior Championships and we also proved to have the best cumulative tallies in track and field at the Age Group Champs in the U20, U17 and U13 categories.

As part of the scoring system, scottishathletics also analysed event groups with a coaching development opportunity for the clubs who won various categories, full details are in this table: Championships points table

Our club and others will now be the recipients of a unique coach development opportunity for a coach working with that respective age group and that event group within the club.

The specific opportunity will depend upon the experience and development requirements for that individual coach, and suitable opportunities being available.

For example, this may take the form of support to a European event/event group conference, a British Athletics coaching weekend, or financial support towards coach education amongst other areas. The support will be agreed with the scottishathletics Director of Coaching in due course.
