SCOTTISH ATHLETICS INDOOR LEAGUE Emirates Arena, Glasgow, Sunday 15th Dec

The First Indoor League meeting of the season will be held on Sunday 15th December
The bus leaves Meadowbank at 11:45 and PC World Corstophine Road at 12:15

We are competing in the afternoon session which starts at 2.00pm (approx).  The order of events/timetable for the meeting is attached scottish indoor league
please note there are times for field events but not for the track as this is a rolling programme.  Please arrive in plenty of time to get warmed up and obtain your numbers.  Athletes doing field events only should arrive an hour before your event. If you are not sure what time to arrive please email or text me.

The League caters for athletes in the U11 – U20 age groups both male
and female. The league is structured into a morning and afternoon
session to accommodate the number of Clubs taking part. Edinburgh AC
compete in the afternoon. There are three matches. The first 2 clubs
from the morning and afternoon in each age group automatically qualify
for the final match along with the best placed 3 rd either from the
morning or afternoon. In conjunction with the final match there is a 4
x 200m relay. If clubs do not qualify they can still enter a relay
team at the final.
For anyone competing for the first time – I will have a selection of
kit vests £10 both for girls and boys and red shorts which the girls
wear are also £10 for you to buy on the day.
There will be coaches on the day to keep you right.
Remember to bring something to eat for lunch – there is facilities at the Emirates also but can be expensive  and lots of water to drink as it does get quite hot

The bus is £5 Please remember there is a charge of £2 to compete if you are not getting the bus.
The bus is booked for return at 6/6:30 and we should be back in Edinburgh 1 hour after this.
The athletes will be asked to text when we are leaving and again when we are near home.

We are also looking for parents to help with the admin – particularly at the beginning.  We will make sure you don’t miss watching your child.  Please let me know if you can help asap
