At the British Universities Championships, Kimberly Reed threw her second qualifying distance for the Commonwealth Games with a hammer with a throw of 61.77m

At the same event Jake Wightman won the 800m with a time of 1:49.71. in the heats  Jake ran 1:48.69 which is the fastest Scot this year, but is just short of the qualifying time which is 1:47.50

In Kingston Jamaica, Chris O’Hare was third in an invitation event with a time of 3:42.55

In Indiana, Lynsey Sharp ran her first 800m race for a year in 2:06.26, recovering from foot surgery, Lynsey, is easing herself back into the 800m with a series of low key races.
