YDL Finals

Youth Development League National Finals, Birmingham 7th-8th September.
Edinburgh once again represented Scotland in the National Finals with a team in both the upper league (U17-U20) and the lower league (U13-U15).
The upper league team finished in second place with the lower league team fifth.
We had athletes of the match in both teams with our hammer throwers Kimberley Reed (U20) and Natalie Robbins (U15) both picking up the awards. Natalie’s throw of 48.92m was a new U15 Scottish record.

The results can be viewed here:

Well done to all our athletes and coaches on another successful season and thanks to all the officials and helpers without whom we would not be able to compete.

i would just like to say what a teriffic build it was to the event.
the young athletics had a lot of fun ,it is a terrific way for the newer
athletes to feel part of the ‘family’ eac.
