The results from the Forth valley League Final are now available.

Our Division1 team were second in the Match and finished second equal in the league and won the trophy for best Field Team.
Our Div 3 team were also second placed in this match but won the league and promotion to Div 2.

Please pass this on to all kids who competed over the 3 matches and let them know that they did really well.  This league is a development league with a lot of kids either competing or trying events for the first time (not necessarily the events you are being trained for).  A few of you taking one for the team!  Some of the U11’s took part in Div 1 in the final (we were 2nd there!) but helped get us the Div 3 win over the season.

The club has discussed over the last few years whether putting a team out for this division was sustainable but the proof is in the pudding (if we can get the athletes out!).  The main thing now is can we stay in Div 2

The trophies  will be presented at a later date but we will try and get a team photo somehow at MB when it is in our hands with the team Captains.

I hope spectators also enjoyed the event over the season.

The next match is the Presidents select in August with athletes from all the leagues invited to compete.
