Divisions I and II

A bright sunny day at Grangemouth with a slight head wind for the sprinters was made all the more pleasant, with the Division I team winning the match and retaining the League title.
Despite being in the middle of the school holidays which made team selection even more difficult, we still managed to put out 2 good teams.
The Division II team were a very creditable second in their match, finishing in 3rd place in the League.
Over the season the Div I team have had strong competition from Pirteavie who finished second in the League.
Running two teams has proved to be quite a challenge especially for the Division 2 team, but it has been worth it in the end.
Congratulations to all the athletes who have competed for us over the season, and our thanks to all the officials and helpers who run the matches so smoothly and help make this League such an enjoyable experience for the youngsters.

4 Athletes competed for Club for the first time this season.
In 38 events, athletes were participating in them for the first time this season.
23 PB’s were attained.
Over the season:
18 athletes have taken part in their first competition of the year with us.
In 65 events, athletes were trying them for the first time in the season, and 43 PB’s were attained.
In all 103 athletes were used in the 4 matches.
