Olympian Beth Dobbin clocked a new PB for 100m earlier this week – as she recorded 11.46 at an event in Dagenham.
And that takes the Edinburgh AC sprinter to third in the Scottish Women’s all-time list for 100m.
Helen Golden leads the rankings at 11.40 with Alisha Rees, at 11.45, the only other athlete to have run quicker than Beth.
It means two of the top three are current athletes which supports comments from Ian Mackie to us the other day about some promising signs in sprints at the moment.
It also means the top three Female Sprinters are all Edinburgh Athletes.
Well done to Beth and coach Leon Baptiste.
