New Record for Lynsey

lynsey 3Finishing 6th in the final of the 800m at the Olympic Games in Rio, Lynsey Sharp broke her own Scottish record of 1:57.71 with a new time of 1:57.69.

‘It was a great race to be part of,’ said Lynsey. ‘I knew it was going to be very competitive and to run my fastest ever time in an Olympic final, I have to be happy with  but I’m a little bit frustrated because I know that I can go faster than that.

Well done to Lynsey on reaching the final and running her best ever time.
