Well doe to Edinburgh AC athletes Sarah Malone and Alisha Rees who combined with Rebecca Matheson and Taylah Spence set a new Scottish National Record in the 4 x 100m Relay at the Diamond League meet in Birmingham and posted a Commonwealth Games standard as they clocked 44.75.

Also breaking records was Beth Dobbin, who as part of the GB  4 x 100m relay team, set a Diamond League meeting record with a World Lead of 42.29 to claim the 4x100m
