SAL Equity Audit

Message from Pat Sinclair:

scottishathletics need to achieve the Equity Standard Preliminary Level by March 2009 and in order to do this we need your help as every club has to have representation in the audit. I would be very grateful if you could click on the link below and complete the questionnaire, which will take no longer than 5 minutes. Please could you also encourage your club members to complete the questionnaire too.

scottishathletics achieved the first ‘Foundation Level’ and now needs to progress through the remaining 3 levels. The purpose of the Standard is to develop the organisation in terms of the culture, policies, leadership and people to promote democracy and fairness within the sport. It also aims to improve the services offered such as programmes, communications and customer service – however, in order to find out where our gaps are in achieving Equity, we need as many members as possible to complete the audit.

The club that completes the most questionnaires will win 50 tickets for the Falkirk Cup, the televised international athletics meeting in Grangemouth – also the inaugural Golden League Final – on the evening of Wednesday 26th August (Grangemouth Stadium, Falkirk).

All you have to do is ensure that your club completes the most Equity surveys by Tuesday 18th August to win.
