Not famed for my XC exploits myself but wanted to give you guys a shout regarding the East Districts XC Relays at Glamis Castle on Saturday 13th October.

Building on success of the National Road Relays (team bronze) the A and B team runners were keen to see if any of our internationals (you guys 😉 happened to be in Scotland that weekend and fancied a relay leg on a course which I’m told is ‘like a golf course’.  Would be great to medal at this event and think there is no doubt with all EAC members running we’d win. But of course it’s understandable this race might not figure in plans or suit all or some might be away and not be in Scotland regularly. I’ve certainly been in that boat previously, but partly as I either didn’t know about or didn’t know there was the desire to get EAC on the podium.

I just wanted to reach out  and I would love it if any of you could run and it goes without saying would be pretty inspiring to our younger members. There is also the national relays also later in the year.
