Susan Deacon/Burnside

Winner of 5 100m Scottish titles, 2 at 200m and 4 indoor 60m titles and 3 indoor 200 titles, Susan  was the outstanding Scottish sprinter at the beginning of this century. She won the AAA indoor 200 in 2005 and medalled at AAA/UK champs on 7 other occasions. Competed in the World Indoor Champs in 2003 and a member of Scotland’s 4×400 relay team at Manchester in 2002. Career bests of 7.35 (60m), 11.56/11.46w (100), 23.60 (200) and 53.96 (400).
