The finishing times of the 3 marathons I ran between April 2019 and April 2020 don’t look particularly interesting in isolation - failed a tough challenge at the first time of asking, before going on to complete it next time and then do slightly better the time after that.

Woodrow, a 34-year old psychology researcher and qualified athletics coach, originally from Fife, long-time resident of Edinburgh, and now based in the Borders, was making her debut at the 100km distance, and representing Scotland for the first time.

Medals at the Scottish 10k Road Race

Congratulations to Tim Hely winning the bronze medal at the World Masters Athletics Championships M50, 3000m steeplechase in 10:35, being held in Gothenburg Sweden, yesterday evening.

In an exciting race in the Olympics 1500m, Josh Kerr won Silver in a new British Record time of 3:27.79 only 0.14 secs behind American Cole Hocker.

Thank you to all those athletes, who took the opportunity to represent Edinburgh AC in this season’s Scottish National Athletics League and while it was a solid 3rd place finish at the end of the 3 matches, behind winners Aberdeen AC and Victoria Park it would be great to see  increased numbers participating, especially in the field events next season.
