Brian Winning

Everyone in the EAC athletics community is devastated to learn of the death of Brian Winning. Brian's infectious enthusiasm for the sport was legendary and he has been an inspiration to many of our young athletes. Many of our up and coming hurdlers owe their success to his coaching expertise. He was passionate about providing the opportunity for youngsters in Edinburgh to experience athletics in their own "backyard" and was very active coaching around the city. He encouraged many of these athletes to become involved in competitive athletics with EAC.He will be sorely missed by the athletic family.
