Susan McKelvie was pleased to get through to the last eight competitors in the final of the hammer.Susan finished 6th with a throw of 63.76m very close to her seasons best .Susan said: ‘I am 5ft 3in and working full-time so I’m pleased to be sixth in a Commonwealth final. I had a look at the women around me and they are full-time, class athletes.‘I’d love to have managed a PB and I did think I could get that but I’m pleased to be top Scot.
