Could we match this?

From the mists of time and the now defunct AAA Indoor Junior Medley Relay (1 Feb, 1975) (800/600/400/200), EAC ran 4.27.4.I wonder how the youngsters would match this today! We actually only finished second to a superb Wolverhampton & Bilston team, but the EAC time would have won all the other previous and later championships.I recall we were slightly disappointed as Drew McMaster said he wouldn't run, which I suspect would have won it for us; John Scott ran the 400m and we had to drag someone in for the 200m-it may have been Albert Ree(?); Paul Forbes ran the 800m (1.54.0) against AAA champion, Malcolm Edwards (1.53.8); Peter Hoffmann ran the 600m (78.5) v Gary Cook (81.0).Peter Hoffmann
