MEMORABLE MARATHON MOMENT - 30 YEARS ON
Scotland and Edinburgh Southern Harrier Allister Hutton won the London Marathon 30 years ago today with a run of 2:10.10.
Allister had clocked a PB of 2:0916 in the London event some five years earlier in 1985.
He held the Scottish record for many years until Callum Hawkins recorded 2:08.14 in London a year ago.
Thanks to the athletics photography legend that is Mark Shearman for the image of Allister crossing the line back in 1990.
