New Record for Jake

SCOTTISH RECORD ALERT Jake Wightman has broken the Scottish men's indoor 1500m mark in New York.
Jake clocked 3:34.48 for second place in the race at the World Indoor Tour event - and eclipse the 3:35.72 Record held by Josh Kerr and set a couple of years ago.
Australian athlete Oliver Hoare finished strongly in the last lap to get beyond Jake and clock a superb 3:32.35 that was inside his outdoor PB.
Well done to Jake and coach Geoff Wightman on once again improving Scottish standards and adding the indoor 1500m to his outdoor 1500m mark.
