North East Masters Championships

A report from Bill Gentleman on the North East Masters Championships in Jarrow, shows that at the age od 76 he can still produce the goods:-Very fatigued by the time I drove down after a hard week. Did hammer, shot, discus and weight in that order. Hammer a satisfactory 38.82 new C.B.P by 10m, shot 8.68/70 best for two years, discus threw "nicely" only 22.63 - been hitting 28 in training, weight a vey tired 14.73 but new C.B.Perf. by C 5 m. So O.K. considering physical state. Won all four. Should be able to do better when rested.Bill Gentleman
