Robinson 5K Race 2

Race 2:8th May 2021

Another Saturday in May 2021 means one thing - the time had come for another hearty group of EAC runners to trash themselves around the Meadows, all with the aim of covering a GPS "5k" as quickly as possible.

With IMaC and I on pace making dutiesfor 18 and 19 minutes lots of fast time were recorded and a few pbs wereshattered along the way - particular congrats to Morven who took a good fewminutes out of her previous best at a Parkrun in the good old days when theywere a thing.

The randomness of the finishing pointstill continues to give a bit of confusion, although now that we've had a fewruns it seems to be that most people are finishing close to where Garry wasstanding in the videos from the last outing.

An updated provisional leader board is attached to include Group 2 and a fewvirtual entrants which have come my way - I've tried to interpret the timesfrom a mixture of Strava and watching the videos, though if anything looksdodgy let me know.

Race 2:15th May 2021

I won't be about this weekend, but inmy absence Becca Astridand Iain Craven   will be setting the pace forWave 3.

Latest list I have is in the picattached - as always if anything looks wrong please let me know and for areminder the timings for the day are as follows;

8:30 - 8:40 => Meet at Green Hut

8:45 => Warm up jog to Start Line

9:00 => 5k Start

Seeing a few EAC clubmates dotted around the course again gave a welcome boost time out so if you're able to come along to support our athletes please make your way to the park.
