Scottish Women’s Athletic League, Meadowbank ,22nd May 2011 The second meeting of the league held a very windy Meadowbank with wind speeds measuring up to  +6.7.Despite having a few spaces in the team,(especially in the jumps) we won the meeting with Tayside and Fife in second place.With 10 events to go we were only 10 points in front, but with some fine results in the 1500m, Senior Javelin, U13 Shot and Senior Triple Jump plus winning all the relays we finished with 58 point lead.Thanks to all officials and helpers for working in such difficult conditions.The unscrutinised positions are shown below:1  Edinburgh AC. 4972  Tayside & Fife 4393  Team West 3534  Pitreavie AAC 3265  Forth Valley 3216  Aberdeen 2967  Lothian 2628  VP Glasgow 199The results for the Edinburgh athletes can be viewed here:swal match 2 results
