EAC Grand Prix: 10k Race 3 - FinalResults

The number crunching is done foranother weekend and the 10k results have now been finalised.

There is another nice variety ofroutes covered by a highly impressive 65 participants, with a good mix of maxefforts, tempos, fartleks and fun running which was great to see. Every run isa good run as they say so give yourself a bit on the back to go along with thevirtual points now added to your total.

Fastest run this time was recorded byNeil Renault at the death, gettinghimself out to the Meadows late on Thursday to net a time of 33:23 and getmaximum points to edge past StuartJohnston at the top of the Male leader board.

Lauren Wilson again netted the fastest Femaletime, looping round Duddingston golf course in an impressive 37:32 to close thegap on Chloe Cox at the top of the Femaleleader board down to just 3 points at the halfway stage.
Lots of movement at the top of the handicap, where the lead seemed to changeevery time I refreshed the tables! After netting a second consecutive pb in theseries with a highly impressive time of 34:48 Robin Kyle now leads the standings, although it's all very tightwith just 10 points separating the top five.

I do love a random graph, so for thisweek's special I've plotted a bar chart comparing performances across the 3distances so far - seems like 1 mile is the squads preferred distance!

Hopefully all the issues were ironedout with the tweaks I've made since yesterday, although if anything looks outjust let me know.

Next week is a rest week until we get back to the short stuff with a 2 mile blast - hopefully the momentum keeps going and we get another great "virtual" turnout for that one too.
