Lynsey Sharp ran 2 seconds under her previous best time to win the  800m at the British Milers Club Grand Prix in Watford, with a time of 2:02.48Greg Turnbull won his first Major Handicap Sprint with a prize of £1000 , with a photo finish in the 110m Handicap at the Hawick Border Games.In the USA Chris O'Hare was 11th in the American Collegiate 1500m Championship, Chris was 3rd in his semi-final with a time of 3:43.03, Kris Gauson who was also competing in the event was forced to drop out due to food poisoning.
