EAC Race Reports

Looking at our webstats, it is clear that by far the most popular posts on our website are the race reports. This year we have been privileged to receive over 75 individual reports within 57 web postings. A big thank you goes out to the 23 people involved in writing these. We have been spoiled for choice and the quality of the race reports certainly hasn’t been affected by the quantity. Race distances ranged from 4k to 82 miles and involve races in Scotland, UK and further afield! Please keep the reports coming in and if you haven’t yet contributed any, hopefully, reading some of these reports will inspire you to submit a report the next time you race.

There are many benefits to these reports. They can be informative, inspiring, amusing and always interesting. They demonstrate the variety and variation of events and activities that our athletes take part in. Lets not forget that they are also very educational, sharing race experiences and tactics and are also great for the athletes actually writing them, as it promotes self analysis and understanding of why some races go well while others do not.   Continue reading
