ALLISON CURBISHLEY SILVER MEDAL WINNER IN K.L

Allison Curbishley specialised in the 400m.
AAA U17 Junior Champion 300mH, AAA U20 Champion 400m and Scottish Champion 400m.

Competing in the 1994 World Student Games in Italy, Allison was 1st 400m

Representing Great Britain on many occasions, including these Major Championships:
1993 European Junior Championships, Spain (400mH)
1994 World Junior Championships, Lisbon (400mH and 4 x 400m Relay)
1997 European U23 Championships,  Finland ( 400m,  4 x 400m Relay)
1997 World Championships , Greece (400m, 4 x400m Relay)
1998 European Cup, Russia (4 x 400m Relay)
1998 European Championships, Hungary (4 x 400m Relay)
2000 Olympic Games , Sydney (400m and 4x400m Relay)
2004 Olympic Games , Atlanta  (4 x400m Relay)

Allison also represented Scotland in the 400M at the 1998 Commonwealth Games in Malaysia.

During her career her knee was operated on six times, and the injury finally led to her retirement in 2003.
