Lauren Peffers

Lauren Peffers was part of the Scottish athletics scene between 2003 and 2013 having her best year in 2009 when she ranked 6th in the 400 metres
and won the first of two silver medals at the indoor 400m.

In Melbourne in 2005 Lauren won gold at 800m and silver at 1500m at the Deaflympics and won three more silver medals at subsequent Games in 2009 and 2013. A member of Dunbar Running Club then Edinburgh AC, she had career bests of 55.90 (400m), 2:11.36 (800m) and 4:39.94 (1500m).
