Thanks to continuing support from Scottish Gas and Brooks we are delighted to announce the 2013 EAC road races. A clash with a JogScotland race has forced us to reschedule this year’s event from its usual date in August to a new one in September. As well as the change in date there is another new aspect to this year’s event in the form of chip timing. This will be the first time we have used chip timing and by introducing it we are hoping to improve accuracy for the runners and assist in the production of results.

Some aspects of the race will stay the same including the start and finish which will be again at Scottish Gas headquarters at Granton. We are hoping that other aspects of the course will stay the same but this is subject to City of Edinburgh Council approval at the time of writing.
