The Bert Farmer was held at the meadows at the weekend and was a great day, with over 50 club members turning out in slightly wet and slippery conditions.

Thanks to all volunteers for helping race run so smoothly; time keepers John and Shona, photography from Richard Clark (look out for photos on facebook, Garry for recorder duties, Eric, Malcom and Lisa for helping as changeover stewards and Chloe and Sandy course stewards.

Great to see youngsters turning out. Thank you to parents for bringing younger athletes. Also a great precedent two buggy teams completed the course.

Pleased to announce new winners at end of a very competitive event are Beth Ansell and Paul Butler. Special shout out to Imac finishing fourth, great achievement, running all solo.

Thanks to all who donated the prizes and baked treats and chocolates to replenish runners. A small surplus to club funds from race entry, all appreciated!
