In a close finish Jake Wightman won bronze in the 1500m at the European Championships in a time of 3:38.10, Chris O’Hare who was well placed until the last 50m was 9th.placed in 2:39.53

Lynsey Sharp competing in the final of the 800m was 6th 2:01.83.

Beth Dobbin is through to the final of the 200m with a time of 22.84, in the final Beth was 7th placed with a time of 22.93
