Aviva London Grand Prix on Saturday 25th July.
Freya Murray raced to a lifetime best performance and Commonwealth Games qualifying time of 15:32.39 when finishing sixth in a high class 5000m field at the Aviva London Grand Prix on Saturday (25th July).
Freya who has also recorded PB’s over 3000m and 10k in 2009 – was delighted to have secured the Commonwealth Games standard in a quality race won by Ethiopia’s Tirunesh Dibaba (14:33.65) and will be hoping for an opportunity to better that at the Aviva British Grand Prix in Gateshead on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August.
