Marjory Cook

presentation of the Tom Stillie Sword

It is with deepest regret that we have to announce the very sad news, of the sudden passing of Marjory Cook.

Marjory was a long standing and loyal member of the club as a Coach an Official for track and endurance and our club Welfare Officer.
In 2009 Marjory was awarded the Tom Stillie Sword for
Outstanding Contributions to Scottish Athletics.

Our sincere condolences go out to all her family and many friends.

Marjory will be a huge loss for us as a club through her wealth of knowledge and experience as a track judge an endurance official, cross country official, administration for both the club and events.
As our club welfare officer and as our friend, she was great company to be around.

Rest in peace Marjory.

What a tragedy – Marjory was a lovely lady, always smiling and will be a big miss to her athletic colleagues.
