3 GOLD 4 SILVER 1 BRONZE
An amazing 8 medals were won between 5 athletes at the Scottish Masters Championships 2016 at Aberdeen on Saturday 2nd July.
It was forecast to start raining early on in the morning however stayed dry for the majority of the day with only a few spots of rain that soon cleared late afternoon.
ALL 5 athletes who competed medalled at these championships.
The Edinburgh AC Masters team in Aberdeen were:
Sue Ridley W50 1500m GOLD
Sharyn Ramage W50 800m GOLD 1500m SILVER
Andrew Latham M50 1500m SILVER
Matthew Newnham M55 1500m BRONZE
Gary Leek M55 100m SILVER 200m SILVER 400m GOLD
A lifetime debut over 400m for Gary Leek taking the title and the Gold Medal
