  Ross Matheson – Male Athlete of the Match (800m )

On a hot sunny day Team Edinburgh made the most of home advantage with a convincing win over the other 7 Premier division teams.
Top performance came from Ross Matheson who won the 800m in a time of 1m 52.89s and received athlete of the match award.
Double ‘A’ string winners were Allan Hamilton (Long Jump and Triple Jump) and Nicky McMurtrie (Discus and Javelin); Hope Robertson and Bethany Finlayson gave us double wins in the 100m and 200m. The day was rounded off with a clean sweep of all four relay events.
