EAC Robertson 5k Handicap 2022 Results

Evening all, hope everyone has had a good weekend. After a bit of number crunching I’m pleased to confirm the results from Saturday’s Robertson 5k Handicap have now been finalised, with Shane Donnellan netting the trophy after narrowly edging out the competition in a time of 17:43 to take first place.

Second place went to Sean Eng, who posted the fastest outright time of the day (17:22) which wasn’t quite enough to wipe out the 30s handicap difference between the pair. Full results are in the attached pic, with particular congratulations also going to Katie Renault whose effort of 21:11 was the fastest female time of the date.

Lastly thanks from both Alex and I to all the wonderful volunteers who kept things in order, motivate the runners (the lure of Richard Michael Clark’s baking always gives a boost!) and supported the organising of the event – it couldn’t have happened without all your help so as always the efforts were most appreciated.
