Robertson (semi)Virtual 5k Handicap Update: Race 3 Report + Race 4 Debrief Race 3: 15th May 2021

The Robertson races keep rolling on, with Saturday seeing the most keenly contested battle as the 9 runners from Group 3 tested themselves against the 5K distance.Following VAR analysis Tim Kasoar took the race win just ahead of Eilidh Gillanders, although Eilidh was one of a host of runners to get under 20 minutes (netting a pb in the process) which is what it’s all about – high standard so far is definitely making the job of calculating an overall handicap winner a difficult task.

An updated provisional leader board is attached to include Group 2 and a few virtual entrants which have come my way – I’ve tried to interpret the times from a mixture of Strava and watching the videos, though if anything looks dodgy let me know.

Race 4: 22nd May 2021
The next group looks like quite a wide spread so I’m planning to joining Iain and Becca as a third pacemaker to hopefully keep the good times coming.
