Two Edinburgh AC masters athletes travelled last Saturday to Coventry to represent the Scottish Masters team at the annual Inter Area meeting.

Gillian Cooke and Paul Forbes both with great performances on the day.

Gillian won the Long jump 5.22m, won Triple Jump 10.68m, 2nd Javelin 25.61(SB), a win in the Pole Vault with 3.01m as well as part of winning quartet in the 4x100m relay 54.79.

Paul had a great day winning the 400m in a new returning to the sport pb of 59.89s. Superb running Paul now M60 age group. He then went in to win the 800m in 2:22.86.
