Scottish Young Athletes League, Grangemouth, 30 May 2010
The second SYAL match resulted in another win for Edinburgh but not by as much as the first match. The outstanding performances came from Josh Kerr – 1st in the U13 1500m in a time of 4m 34.67s, setting a new league record and a time that heads the UK rankings by over 5 seconds – and the U17 men’s 4 x 400m relay team who also set a new league record of 3m 30.94s.
Although there is still one match to go, Edinburgh AC are already guaranteed a place in the Scottish final. The top 2 clubs from the Scottish final will travel to Manchester for the UK finals in the first weekend of September.
