Scottish Athletics is mourning the death of Edinburgh Southern Harriers legend Stewart McCallum.
Stewart was one of the heroes who won the Pye Gold Cup British Championship, in 1975, a feat no Scottish club has remotely approached since.
He was an accomplished all round athlete, with 6 national titles in three events, high hurdles, pole vault and decathlon.
In all he represented Great Britain nine times, five at decathlon and four in the 400m hurdles, he also represented Scotland at the Commonwealth Games in New Zealand.
Our sympathies go out to his family.
