Well done to Alisha Rees who qualified for the Semi Finals of the 100m at the U23 European Championships with a second place in her heat with a time of 11.55.Semi Final

Finishing third in her Semi Final with a time of 11.57, unfortunately did not qualify for the Final.

Alisha was also involved in the Women’s 4x100m team who looked good in their heats as they progressed to the final but sadly that delivered a DNF situation – as Alisha suffered a hamstring injury during her leg.

It was such a shame for the Scot and the GB and NI quartet when a podium place had looked a real possibility.
